High Definition Printingâ„¢ ribbons and HDP Film combine to produce virtually tamper proof and durable cards with crisp, 300 dpi images - even on the surface of technology cards. FGO-84056 YMCKH ribbons consist of yellow (Y), magenta (M) and cyan (C) panels for printing a full spectrum of colors by combining the colors using varying degrees of heat. The K panel is a black resin panel, typically used for printing text and barcodes. The Heat Seal (H) panel is specially designed to help HDP film adhere to cards with uneven surfaces, such as smart cards. The FGO-4056 ribbon is for use with the HDP5000 series of card printers, and must be used in conjunction with HDP film for HDP5000 and HDPii printers.
